When three brothers from Calexico, a small town on the border of California and Mexico moved to New York City, they searched unsuccessfully for anything that resembled their hometown cuisine. Taking things into their own hands, they've gone from a single taco truck to a handful of restaurants across NYC and Detroit and even Bahrain in a short amount of time.
Since expansion was happening fast, it was time to take a look at the branding and freshen things up a bit. Keeping their original logo, we added some spice to the brand with a set of quirky collages (using photography of the brothers in their hometown), lively typography, bright colors, and new taglines. All keeping in the vibrant spirit of the brothers themselves.
